A three hour photographic course aimed at improving your people and portrait photography with professional photographer Edward Parker which is suitable for photographers of all levels of experience.
The course is based around Embankment and Edward will explain how to adjust your camera settings to get the very best results whether using compacts, bridge cameras or DSLRs. Edward has photographed people in more than 40 countries around the world. He has also undertaken many photojournalism, fashion and corporate assignments for companies such as Channel 4, Marks & Spencers and Rolls Royce.
Edward will instruct you as to how to getthe very best results from whatever camera equipment you are using. He will also explain how to take advantage of the weather conditions whether it’s overcast and raining orbrilliant sunshine. So don’t worry too much about the weather.

Trees and Park Landscape Photography

Flash and Night Photography
A three hour introduction to night and flash photography based around Waterloo Bridge which is suitable for photographers of all levels of ability with compact cameras and DSLRs. The course is based on Edward Parker’s experience of working as a professional photographer around the world ‐ from Saigon to Rio and London to Berlin.
The course offers photographers a chance to learn the basic techniques involved in night photography and then useful tips on how to get the very best images possible from their equipment. It also shows people how to take advantage of different weather conditions to produce great photographs. A tripod is recommended.

About Edward Parker
Edward Parker is a professional photographer with more than twenty years experience of working both here in the UK and in more than 40 countries abroad. He has written more than 30 books and illustrated countless more including his latest – Photographing Trees, published by Kew Gardens. He has photographed many different subjects from wildlife to fashion and he has photographed everywhere from the Amazon and Borneo rainforests to mega cities such as Rio and Mexico City as well as Downing Street, Buckingham Palace and London fashion shows. He has twice been “highly commended” in Wildlife Photographer of the Year and he has been short listed for Environmental photojournalist of the year. His work has been on exhibition at locations such as Kew Gardens, 10 Downing Street and the Horniman Museum and currently forms part of a travelling exhibition in Tokyo.
