Jack The Ripper
The most famous series of murders in history happened 30 years ago. The East End and London were gripped by a series of vicious, diabolical and calculated murders that stood apart from the murders of other prostitutes due to their ritualistic elements and macabre details. It is 1888 again and you are walking the streets around the murder sites of Jack The Ripper, analyzing evidence and listening to some interesting and compelling theories. You will walk in the footsteps of the murderer as your tour guide brings alive the terror of these fateful nights.
The tour will incorporate historical details about the area and details about the type of people living there at the time. The East End was an area of immigration and tensions rose as various immigrant groups were being blamed for these horrific attacks. We will learn how difficult life was for the poor in London at the time and how the life expectancy of those living here was well below that of other areas of London.
"This tour was so brilliant. Emma was so knowledgeable and shared this with us in a fun way. We were fed really well too! Emma is a brilliant natural guide and I'm looking to book up another tour very soon I really felt I had learnt so much at the end of this tour. Would recommend this to anyone!!"
