A tour of bright lights, Christmas traditions and the best parts of festive London.
This walk starts near Covent Garden and we venture into the Piazza and a few secret areas where Christmas is shown at its best. The Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square is a must and we learn the story behind this beautiful pine. Then, we venture off to see some of London’s legendary lights and enjoy a mince pie before hearing of the unique traditions and inventions that make a British Christmas different from the rest of the world’s. There are crackers and bad jokes for the children and a quote or two from a Dickens favourite. Shopping arcades and shop windows are at their festive best, making this a truly beautiful tour and one of the best times for a stroll around London. We see some of the best and most traditional decorations our capital has to offer. This is a nostalgic tour of Christmas’s past, and the perfect way to get us all into the spirit of the season.
