A walking tour of bright lights, Christmas traditions and the hidden gems of festive London. This guided tour starts near Covent Garden and we venture into the Piazza and a few secret areas of London where Christmas is shown at its best. The Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square is a must and we learn the story behind this beautiful pine. Then, we venture off to see some of London’s legendary lights and enjoy a mince pie before hearing of the unique traditions and inventions that make a British Christmas different from the rest of the world’s.
There are crackers and bad jokes for the children and a quote or two from a Dickens favourite. Shopping arcades and shop windows are at their festive best, making this a truly beautiful tour and one of the best times for a stroll around London. We see some of the best and most traditional decorations our capital has to offer. This is a nostalgic walking tour of Christmas’s past, and the perfect way to get us all into the spirit of the season. |

What our guests are saying:
"We joined Emma recently for her Christmas tour and all had a fantastic time. It was amazing to find ourselves in the backstreets of Central London which are full of so much history having walked past them in ignorance hundreds of times over the years. Emma is an extremely engaging and knowledgeable host and we will no doubt be booking another tour soon (we have previously been on her History of Street Food Tour which was equally enjoyable)." |
