As we explore, you’ll learn about some of Hampstead’s most well-known residents and visitors who have frequented its storied pubs, from Ricky Gervais and Ringo Starr to Judi Dench, Emma Thompson, Helena Bonham Carter, Ridley Scott, George Michael, and even Charles Dickens, who was a regular at The Holly Bush. 

Our walk to The Spaniards Inn, one of London’s oldest pubs, takes us through woodland paths, scenic ponds, and past a grand stately home. Along the way, we’ll uncover tales of infamous highwaymen like Dick Turpin and consider the lingering question: is the pub truly haunted?
